The businesses of District 1351, Greater Sudbury’s newest destination for food, entertainment and play, are thrilled to announce their inaugural neighbourhood event Pasta Palooza in support of the Sudbury Food Bank on Sunday, August 18.
Situated at the border of Greater Sudbury’s South and West End, District 1351 is poised to become the go-to spot for locals and visitors alike, offering an experience that caters to every taste and preference, said a press release.
Whether you’re a foodie, music fan, parent or young professional, or simply seeking a vibrant atmosphere to unwind, District 1351 has something for everyone.
Pasta Palooza takes place in the West End Business Park, located at 1351 Kelly Lake Rd., from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday Aug. 18. Entry is free but a donation to the Sudbury Food Bank is appreciated.
Pasta Palooza features live music by The Co-Operative, pasta stations, beverages, kids’ activities like face painting and pottery making, and a pasta eating competition, all located at Natura Catering & Events.
Business partners include Aniko Pasta Artigianale, Crosscut Distillery, Great White North Pottery, Inspired Sudbury, LVX Gymnastics, Natura Catering & Events, Northern Hockey Academy, Swat Media Group and Verdicchio Ristorante Enoteca.
In addition, LVX Gymnastics and Inspired Sudbury will host open houses this day and invite Pasta Palooza attendees to visit and play with them for free.
